Universal Package Systems will be exhibiting in booth 904C in South Wing at the National Farm Machinery Show being held in Louisville, KY from February 15-18, 2012 at the Kentucky Exposition Center.
Universal will be featuring its hopper bottom containers designed for storing and dispensing seed, feed, salt and other granular agricultural type products. Also on display, will be a custom plastic bulk container to illustrate the company’s ability to cut and weld custom size plastic containers to virtually any size and configuration.
The hopper style container is has a footprint of 45” x 56.5” and stands 65” tall. It is collapsible, nesting to a shipping friendly height of 39.3” and is capable of holding 2500 lbs. The inside of the container is funnel-shaped, sloping downwards at a 35 degree angle so that material flows easily out a 8.1” x 10.7” dispensing chute in the center base of the hopper. A lid protects contents from moisture, rodents, dirt and other contaminants.
