Standard Hopper Bottom
Our hopper bottom collapsible containers are ideal for transporting, storing, and dispensing small parts, powders, pellets - any small uniformly
shaped items. The hopper bottom is available with footprints of either 45" x 48" or 32" x 30", and heights up to 50", and has a capacity of up to 2000 lbs. They feature a pallet style base with 4-way entry so they can be easily moved when empty, full, unstacked or stacked.
An easy to operate, manual slide gate controls the flow of items out of the container, through a bottom funnel opening, and can discharge from the bottom or side (optional). The interior funnel opening on a standard model is 6.25" x 11". The inside of the containers is gently angled so items will easily and smoothly dispense. Liners, lids and a stand (shown in photo) are also available options.
Rodent-Proof Seed/Feed Box
We also offer the new AG/Seed/Feed/Salt Box - a rodent-proof, hopper style, container that is ideal for storing and dispending seed, feed, grain, salt and any small granular agricultural material. The inside of the hopper is sealed with high density polyethylene, and includes a lid to make it rodent proof, as well as water/moisture resistant. Ideal for farm applications, and in particular, horse farms where contaminated feed can wreak havoc with a horse's digestive system, the hopper bottom container is filled from the top, with feed being accurately dispensed from the bottom or side of the container. The slide gate controls the flow rate. The inside of the container is angled at 45o, assuring all feed is dispensed with absolutely no waste. The unit can be collapsed for easy, and space-saving transport or storage.
Also available are rodent-proof, top-dipping, plastic bulk containers that open from the top. Available in a variety of sizes up to a 45" x 48" footprint and various heights, each is also sealed on the inside with high density polyethylene, and comes with an easily removable plastic lid.
Heavy-Duty Hopper Style Box for Storing and Dispensing Fasteners, Screws, Bolts, and other Small, Dense Items
For those of you using fasteners, and other similar, small, uniformly shaped, heavy dense items, we offer a 32" x 30" hopper style container that has been modified to easily store and dispense them. The container is 34" tall, with a 1200 lb. capacity, and has a slide gate on the 32" side. The slide gate allows items to be dispensed at an easily controllable flow rate. It eliminates the need to store or stage items in smaller, but less durable containers such as corrugated paper boxes that can easily tear, rip or break open. The weight of those smaller boxes presents an ergonomic challenge that our hopper bottom solves.
Custom mounting racks can be built on as as needed basis to dispense the items into small manageable containers, or directly to a conveyor or assembly line. Standard stands, lids and liners are available.
