Hopper Containers
This versatile probox hopper style container is the perfect solutions for storing and dispensing your granular agricultural type materials such as seed, feed or road salt. It features a 45" x 56.5" footprint, stands 65" tall when assembled and extended to its full height, and is capable of holding up to 2500 lbs. The inside of the container is funnel-shaped, sloping downward at a 35 degree angle. A simple slide-gate opens and closes an 8.1" x 10.7" dispensing chute located in the bottom center of the container. To dispense material, the slide gate is manually and easily opened, and then closed to stop the flow. A top lid protects contents from dirt, moisture and other contaminants.
You'll find this to be an ergonomic and time-saving alternative to traditional flexible bags or cardboard boxes typically used to store and dispense granular products. The top of the box literally "nests" with the lower portion when empty to save space during storage or transportation. Nested, the container is 39.3" tall. While the boxes are extended to their full height while in use, or nested, they are stackable up to four units high.
It's constructed of long-lasting 100% high-density polyethylene, is rodent proof, and moisture resistant. A four-way entry pallet base allow them to be handled with forklifts or pallet jacks.
